Are you currently working as a volunteer for a local community group? Or are you a member of a faith organisation? Everyone shares responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people irrespective of individual roles. Staff and volunteers are often in key positions to identify and respond to concerns about abuse and neglect.
In the course of their work any member of staff or volunteer may come into contact with, or hear about a child, young person who is at risk of being abused and/or an adult who may be harming a child or young person.
The aim of this course
The sessions are interactive and enable attendees to take valuable real life experiences with them into their real-world roles. This training is carried out in small and friendly groups where you have the opportunity to ask individual questions and advice from our experts as well as learning from other participants and getting lots of feedback.
Learning Outcomes
Each particpant will receive a Learners pack and a certificate upon completion
