Building Assets provide some free and some paid-for services on premises, buildings and facilities.

The Charity Commission has extensive guidance on all aspects of charity management and operations. You can sign up to their free newsletter, which includes updates on legislation and good practice.

Know How Non Profit provides knowledge and e-learning for charities, social enterprises and community groups. (It is managed by NCVO.)

National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) champions the voluntary sector and volunteering seeing them as essential for a better society. NCVO does this by connecting, representing and supporting voluntary organisations. They provide guidance and information and you can join as a member.

Russell Cooke is a firm of solicitors. The charity and social business team advises charities, social enterprises and other not-for-profit organisations. The team work with organisations that are varied in size, constitutional structure and area of operation. Russell Cooke also provide a free newsletter and free charity law seminars.

Small Charities Coalition provide advice, guidance and training. The website has on-line guides and links on a range of subjects, from facilities to fundraising to governance. This is for organisations with an income of less than £1m.

True Vision provides information about hate crime or incidents and how to report it.
