Could you benefit from a weekly online session with a qualified professional where you would learn how to cope with the pressures and demands of daily life?
The Online Wellbeing Programme offers a range of courses ideally designed to help you including:
It is a free service for adults over 18 years old living, working or studying in Barnet, delivered via webinar and accessible from your smartphone, laptop or tablet.
It is an online, interactive seminar or presentation allowing participants in different locations to see and hear a presenter, ask questions and answer polls. Participating is easy and you just need access to the internet via a smartphone, laptop or tablet.
Worried about confidentiality? Don’t worry because during the online sessions, you remain anonymous i.e. other participants cannot see or hear you.
You don’t have to ask questions – if you wish, you can just sit back and listen to the presenter. It is up to you and there isn’t any pressure to join in with the questions.
The programme is available free of charge to all Barnet residents.
Local resident Louise, who participated in the six-week Mood Booster webinar course earlier this year, said the programme was life-changing.
“When I used the strategies given to me and some of the tools available online, I was able to improve my confidence and wellbeing.
“Doctor Mike Scanlon was very impressive and had the specialised communication skills needed to help the lives of extremely vulnerable people.
“I would highly recommend the webinar to anyone; the strategies and tools given to me have changed my life.”
