Response Service - for 18-55 Year Old

CommUNITY Barnet Covid Response Service - Shopping and Prescription Program for 18-55 year olds

This service is commissioned as an additional support service already provided by Barnet Council. We will take referrrals from them and through other statutory partners and organisations. In addition we will take self referrals. 

  • Are you a resident in the London Borough of Barnet and need help because you are shielding or self-Isolating and are having difficulty with shopping or prescription collection?
  • Are you are struggling and do not know who to talk to?
  • Sometimes, it is just about talking to another person and we are on hand to talk to you. 

If you are:

  • 18+ to 55 years of age
  • A resident in the London Borough of Barnet
  • Registered with a Barnet doctor

How to reach us:

Our telephone lines are open 9am until 5pm every day. Though we will operate the befriending call line outside these times. 

If you are in need of medical assistance, please contact either 111, or in an emergency please call 999.

 

Barnet Council COVID-19 Community Help Hub and Helpline

Barnet Council run the COVID-19 Support Service supporting and prioritising the residents of Barnet who are:

  • people defined on medical grounds as extremely vulnerable (External link) from COVID-19

  • people who are self-isolating and need support to remain safe at home

  • people who do not have other means of receiving support
