Julie Pal is CommUNITY Barnet’s CEO. She has been working for the organization since 2013 and overseen its radical transformation from a small, local infrastructure organization to a multi-borough, award winning membership organization with a national reputation.
Supported by an ambitious board of trustees, a senior leadership team with a can-do attitude and a broader staff team passionate about delivering first-class services enables Julie to explore interesting and exciting opportunities for CommUNITY Barnet to allow it to spread its wings to reach as many people, communities and organisations as possible.
Following her appointment to CommUNITY Barnet she was invited to become a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
Nigel Davies - Head of Wellbeing
Nigel is responsible for the strategic direction and development of collaborative partnerships to deliver the Barnet Wellbeing Programme; a new collaboration of Barnet-based charities working with the local mental health trust and supported by Barnet Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).
He previously worked in the education department at the Royal College of Surgeons where he was responsible for the marketing, stakeholder relationships and data management. Prior to joining the College, Nigel held managerial roles in the commercial and third sector, gaining experience in project management, marketing and stakeholder management.

Selina Rodrigues - Head of Healthwatch at Community Barnet
Selina previously was Head of Healthwatch Barnet and established its first programmes, which won national Healthwatch England awards. Selina has worked for the charity sector and as a volunteer in a number of roles, including community development, organisational guidance and training, social policy and with young people and diverse communities. Selina's role is to ensure that local people's views and experiences are heard and acted upon, developing the strategy and activities for Healthwatch. Selina attends some of the senior level meetings in health and social care, as well as developing projects and activities.
